Spring 2026 brings lots of new things, including our very first play! Learn the Basics of Acting in this 13-week theatre class, culminating in 2 full performances of the one-act play, Too Many Detectives at the Murder Mansion.

Sure, you think you've seen this type of murder mystery before. A cast of eccentric characters meet at a mansion, only to become suspects of a murder that a singular genius detective will eventually solve. But what happens when all the suspects are the detectives? Sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew, Miss Marple, and Batman are just a few of the guests. Too Many Detectives at the Murder Mansion is a whodunnit that will leave you laughing and guessing right until the very choose-your-own-ending end!

Open for ages 15 - 99! A great family activity!

Participants will be working with a director, acting coach, technical director, props master, and set designer!

Class dates/times

• Full show rehearsals: Wednesdays 7:00-9:00pm. Rehearsals begin February 18.

• Performances: May 22 & 23

Place:

• Beaumont Community Church (the show is not affiliated with the church, we are simply renting space from them)

Price:

• Too Many Detectives at the Murder Mansion is $275 for 13 3-hour classes, and 2 performances. Payment plans available.

• Note: there is a minimum enrolment for the class to move ahead. We will let you know the week before rehearsals start if we will go ahead or not.

• Please only bring water with you to class. No juices or sodas will be allowed in the rehearsal space.
